StreetAudit ("the app", "we", "us") is a civic-tech tool that lets you capture GPS-stamped photos and videos of street issues and generate AI-assisted audit reports. By using the app you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You need an account to save reports and earn points and badges. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

• Only capture and submit media of public street infrastructure and related issues.
• Do not upload media that identifies specific individuals, private property interiors, or sensitive locations.
• Do not submit false, misleading, harassing, or unlawful content.
• Follow all applicable local laws while capturing media (traffic safety, privacy, drone rules, etc.).

4. AI-generated content

Audit reports are generated by third-party AI models and may contain inaccuracies. They are provided for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional inspection or municipal enforcement decisions.

5. Points and badges

Points and badges have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or goods. We may adjust thresholds or reset balances if we detect abuse.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the media you capture. By saving a report you grant StreetAudit a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, display, and process it in order to provide the service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.

8. Disclaimer & liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
